Minus two

Well, it's getting good and cold here now! This morning, my clock told me it was 12° in my bedroom, and the weather thingo on my computer told me it was -2° outside (well, not necessarily right outside this house, but somewhere in Kabul).
Going outside in shorts and bare feet to start the generator first thing in the morning is getting more interesting every day. I'm wondering how cold it will have to get before i put on shoes and long trousers to go outside at that time. I'll let you know when it happens - if it happens! ;-)
Anyway, it's Friday today, so no work. The weekend for us is Friday and Saturday - it's a kind of hybrid of the Muslim weekend (Thursday and Friday) and the "christian" weekend (Saturday and Sunday). So the first thing i did when i got up was light the bukhari.
Now, it's 7° outside - and a cool 30° in here, which is a bit more bearable!
But it's beautifully clear and sunny out there today, so i'm going to go and sit out in the sun a bit later - when it warms up a little.
