On the Friday afternoon after the Dialogue, i ran into Paula in Calle Insurgentes. She'd just come back from Palenque and had changed her previous plans. She decided to go to Quintana Roo, the most easterly state in Mexico, on the Carribean coast, to spend a week or two on the beach there before flying from Cancún to Canada.
That evening i cooked a good vegan meal, which everyone enjoyed - even though they were all meat eaters. We started on the beer early in the evening, or late in the afternoon really. Then later on we went out to Las Velas which is a late night bar near the Zócalo. I think i went to bed just before sunrise.
